We are looking for an Applications Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for providing technical and product application support for wireless products sold by PAW into Mainland China.
2.Resolves all technical support and product application issues within appropriate timeframes, either remotely or on customer site if necessary.
3.Liaises with factory-based Applications Engineers, Application Specialists and Customer Service personnel as required to resolve customer issues.
4.May be called on to provide occasional applications support to pre-sales opportunities.
5.Prepares application notes, FAQ's and/or white papers on use of wireless applications.
6.Carries out Installation and Basic User Training plans.
7.Ensures accurate record keeping of applications/support issues in supported region.
8.Helps to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
9.Provides suggestions to Wireless Segments regarding product usability, supportability, and methodology
Qualifications:
-BSEE degree or equivalent required; MSEE highly desirable.
-A minimum 4 years related experience/and or training in the wireless cellular industry.
-A minimum of 3 years software development related experience is required
-Demonstrated business communication skills (verbal and written communication skills) in Chinese and English
-Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
-Knowledge of complex electronic lab equipment
-Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
-Thorough knowledge of wireless technology, both hardware and protocol
-Willingness to travel up to 70% of time
